I have one of these little people too, 14.5 months, who likes to protest too...odd.
Her chosen method of protest is arching her back and yelling and then she throws herself on the floor. Sometimes on her back and sometimes on her belly. She has, on occasion, inadvertantly fallen backwards during her protests and turned the yelling to tears by landing right on her head.
She also likes to follow me around if I don't pay attention to the her tantrum and when I stop she will throw herself on the floor again in protest, as I walk away she will follow until I stop and she's back on the floor....
Really, they can be so hysterical...and I wonder where they learn it because I don't remember modeling this behavior for them....
